A wonderful evening of music in Wokingham
On Saturday 14th March 2026, Trinity Concert Band welcomed a fantastic audience to All Saints Church, Wokingham for an evening of music inspired by cultures and landscapes from around the globe.
Our Music Around the World programme took listeners on a journey through a wide variety of styles and moods – from the rousing energy of The Washington Post to the lyrical beauty of Shenandoah, and the cinematic drama of Pirates of the Caribbean.
The atmosphere in the church was warm and enthusiastic throughout, and it was a joy to share such a varied and engaging programme with a supportive audience.
£460 raised for Parenting Special Children
We’re delighted to share that the concert raised £460 for our charity partner, Parenting Special Children (PSC).
- £350 from our concert raffle
- £110 donated via PSC’s collection buckets
This brings the total raised for PSC since December 2025 to £822 – a fantastic start to our fundraising efforts.
During the interval, Sarah from Parenting Special Children spoke about the charity’s work supporting families of children with additional needs across Berkshire:
“It’s really important for small charities like us to have partners like the band – not only for fundraising, but for helping us reach more families who may need our support.”
We’re incredibly proud to support such an important local organisation.
A word from our Musical Director
Following the concert, our Musical Director Paul Speed shared his reflections:
“Thank you all for another wonderful concert at All Saints. The feedback has been incredibly positive about both the quality of playing and the programme.
There were many highlights, but An American Elegy and Shenandoah were particularly special – such beautiful and emotive playing in a wonderful acoustic.
I’m very proud of what the band achieved, and grateful for all the hard work that makes Trinity Concert Band such a special group.”

Looking ahead: Sounds of Summer
We’re already looking forward to our next concert, Sounds of Summer, taking place on Saturday 27th June at 7pm at All Saints Church, Wokingham.
The programme will feature lighter repertoire alongside the return of much-loved guest vocal duo Indigo May.
