Christmas Concert

Trinity Concert Band’s much-loved annual Christmas celebration returns to the beautiful surroundings of Reading Minster. Under the expert direction of Paul Speed, our award-winning band will take you on a magical musical journey through the season, blending festive favourites with heartwarming classics.

Children are warmly invited to join in with Jingle Bells, making this a truly family-friendly celebration of the season.

Note: Newcomers’ Scheme tickets cannot be purchased online and must be reserved in advance by contacting the box office.

Directions & Parking

Reading Minster is a 10-minute walk from Reading Station and is situated on local bus routes.

There is no parking available at the venue; however, the nearest town-centre car park is just a 5-minute walk. Blue badge parking is detailed below.

Accessibility

We know that some of our customers have specific mobility issues, disabilities or other needs. It is important to us that you are as comfortable as possible at our concerts, so we strive to be as accessible as possible to all.

Free Companion Tickets for Carers
Our admission policy admits one necessary companion, or carer, of a disabled visitor free of charge, on request, while the standard admission fee applies to the disabled visitor. Companion tickets must be reserved in advance by calling 0118 449 2099 or emailing boxoffice@trinityband.co.uk.

Accessible Parking
On-street blue badge parking is available on St Mary’s Butts, with a further 18 blue badge spaces in the Broad Street Mall car park. Click here to view a map of the blue badge parking areas.

Toilets
An accessible toilet, complete with baby-changing facilities, is available at ground floor level within the church.

Seating
We are happy to reserve seats for those with limited mobility and arrange spaces for wheelchair users with seats for companions.
If you require an accessible seat or space for a wheelchair, please call 0118 449 2099 or email boxoffice@trinityband.co.uk to make the necessary arrangements.

Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome. Please let us know when booking your tickets so we can offer appropriate seating where your dog can remain with you during the concert, or, if you’d prefer, we will be happy to look after your dog in the foyer while you enjoy the performance.

Tickets purchased online

Tickets purchased online will be emailed to you directly. The QR code on the tickets will be scanned on your arrival so you will need to print them at home or show them on your phone. If neither of these are an option for you, please contact our box office who will arrange for your tickets to be collected on the door.

Tickets purchased via the box office

Tickets purchased via our box office can be emailed to you to print at home or show on your phone on arrival. If you can’t receive the tickets via email our box office can arrange for your tickets to be collected on the door.

Yes, refreshments (including mince pies!) will be provided. Donations to our charity partner will be gratefully received.

Seating is unreserved except for:

  • Members of the TCB Supporters scheme, who can reserve seats in their chosen area of the concert hall.
  • Those with limited mobility issues, wheelchair users or those with pushchairs.
