Ever wondered what it takes to put on a concert? Well, here’s your chance!
Join us at All Saints Church in Wokingham on Tuesday 7th November to experience one of our weekly rehearsals first-hand! Throughout the open rehearsal, you’ll witness our preparation for a public performance as our Musical Director coaches the band and shares his interpretation of the music. During our 15-minute interval, you’ll have time to chat with our MD and band members about what it’s like to perform together each week as a group.
If you’ve got any budding young musicians in the family, this is the perfect opportunity to let them see what group rehearsals are all about!
Just so you know, open rehearsals are not performances. For example, playing may be paused at various intervals for the conductor and band to agree on specific styles and dynamics.
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of the rehearsal and ask that you stay seated throughout. Please note, these are working rehearsals for the band, and we ask for concert conditions from those watching so the musicians are not distracted.
Attendance is free, and you do not need to book in advance. Our open rehearsal is open to all ages, but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
