Trinity Band Membership

The Trinity Concert Band is a friendly and dynamic group and our playing membership now stands at fifty-five musicians. The age of our musicians ranges from 14 to 75!.

We perform regularly in a variety of venues, we inspire enthusiasm in both players and supporters. We play a selection of musical programmes and welcome audiences to a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The players come from all walks of life, from school children and students through engineers, teachers and nurses to retired bank managers. We have welcomed several new players in the last few months.

The one thing everyone has in common is that they enjoy making music in a friendly and mutually-supportive environment. Every member strives to achieve ever higher standards of musical performance, and works very hard to give Earley a well-known Band of which it can be proud.

Joining the Band - What's it like?

Email sent 26th June 2004

I really enjoyed the practice. The people are wonderful, as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted. I was made to feel more than welcome. Unfortunately in this day and age it is difficult to find that kind of comradeship.

For a couple of hours, the realities of life disappeared, I was totally absorbed in the music, my one and only passion in life. Up until the age of eighteen I slept, breathed and ate music, it was my life. Once again, I can feel the adrenaline of being with like minded people and enjoy what I love most.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, your wife, and everyone else for the wonderful welcome.

Sorry if I've waffled on. As you can probably tell, I WILL be there on Tuesday.

Kathy
